Adam is an Associate Director in Buro Happold’s Energy Team and has been working in the District Heating sector for more than 8 years, involved with the engineering design and delivery of low carbon district energy networks.
The urgent need to decarbonise heat in the UK represents an enormous opportunity to ensure that the emerging skills gap is filled in a way that can unlock the benefits that improved inclusion and diversity can bring. The DHN represents one of the most direct initiatives we have to facilitate this and is why Adam joined as a Champion in 2021.

Diverse Heat Network Champions
The Diverse Heat Network Board will be made up of individuals from each member organisation. The Board will be responsible for deciding on actions which help to deliver the vision and objectives of the group.
The Board members will be supported by named champions from each organisation. While the Board will provide priority areas and resources to achieve the strategic aims of the DHN, the champions will take a lead on the implementation and delivery of initiatives.
