Strategy & Decarbonisation Director at Bring Energy
Charlotte has 20 years experience in low carbon energy working in consultancy, strategy and delivery roles within the private sector, local government and the civil service.
Charlotte started her career as Sustainability Consultant for AECOM working on a range of energy, water and building environmental performance projects. At Islington Council in the early 2010s, Charlotte successfully delivered Islington’s award-winning Bunhill Heat Network including an innovative project to capture waste heat from the London Underground. She moved to EQUANS now Bring Energy in 2021 after 7 years at BEIS working in a range of policy and programme management positions. At Bring Energy she is working to help develop the strategies to transition to net zero, supporting our own heat networks schemes, clients and customers.
Charlotte is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion and earlier in the year led the Heat Network Industry council to adopt an industry wide Diversity & Inclusion Charter and commit to an annual survey to monitor the industry workforce.

Diverse Heat Network Champions
The Diverse Heat Network Board will be made up of individuals from each member organisation. The Board will be responsible for deciding on actions which help to deliver the vision and objectives of the group.
The Board members will be supported by named champions from each organisation. While the Board will provide priority areas and resources to achieve the strategic aims of the DHN, the champions will take a lead on the implementation and delivery of initiatives.
